information on food chains!
The song provides
you with information about the three different types of groups that make up the
food chain! While watching the video be sure to jot down some notes!
Once you have finished watching the video, review
facts about each organism. Each student will then be split up into groups. Each
group will each be assigned one organism group from the food chain. Find your
name below and the group you are working in. Each group member will be working
together to complete the assignment!
Group 1: Producers ( Anthony, Victoria, and Molly)
Group 2: Consumers ( Thomas, Dan, and Stephen)
Group 3: Decomposers ( Eleanor, Meredith, and Maria)

Each group will be assigned to answer the following questions about Food Chains! Please copy the question to your group's blog post.
**Answer all questions in complete sentence form.**
1) Name the group of the food chain you are assigned.
2) Name and list examples organisms that make up your group.
3) Explain why this group is important to the food chain.
4) Explain why the food chain affects humans as well.
5) Create your own food chain picture. Make sure each organism is labeled according to which food chain group it belongs too.
After completion please submit it to our classroom blog!
